The inscription "Caucasus" from individual letters-overlays. Silver, niello.Russian Empire (Russia), late 19th century. Letter height: 2.7 cm, width: 1.5 - 2.4 cm. Total weight: 21 grams of silver 84 fineness in zolotniki ( = 875 metrical fineness). Marks: "ВА" - the mark with initials of silversmith. The double Russian hallmark, with the number "84" and the letters "FC", where: "84" – the fineness mark (84 zolotniks = 875). "ФК" – initials of the assay master.        |
