In Tove Jansson's stories, Little My is the smallest mule in the world. She is quick-tempered and irritable, but also
happy and friendly. The disorder and untidiness does not bother her at all: in fact, life is much more interesting
this way. Despite her wild and reckless deeds, Little My is honest and reliable. She is at home in any situation -
she is ready for anything.
The original illustrations from the comic strip by Tove Jansson N17 "Moomin and the Comet" (1958) were used
for the decoration of this mug.

The Moomin are afraid of the Groke, who doesn't like anybody, and no one
really likes her, either. She shows up uninvited and rarely talks. A
chilly aura surrounds the Groke and the ground freezes beneath her.
The back side illustration is chosen from Tove Jansson’s novel "Moominpappa at Sea" (1965)
and recognizable image of the Groke from the front is from Tove Jansson’s novel
"Moominland Midwinter" (1957).

In honor of the 70th anniversary of the Moomins in the year 2015, Arabia launched a Moomin mug with a much-wanted decoration
of a Moominhouse. Although the mug was launched to honor the jubilee year, it is still in Arabia’s production, at least for the time being.
Tove Slotte, a designer of Arabia’s Moomin products, made drafts for both two and three-storey houses
in which numerous of Moominvalley’s characters have been added from various Moomin comic strips.
